This is an ongoing project in which I make collages using iPhone stickers in a text thread with myself. I select the stickers from photos I took on my phone that are part of a larger series titled Within Remnants. In this series, I capture incidental mark-making, collage, and assemblages around the streets and subway platforms of New York City. These texts with myself serve as a regular sketch-book-like practice in which I process the glimmering fragment’s of visual information from the city into new structures and formal relationships.
